Cloverleaf Local Schools is a rural public school district located in Lodi, Ohio serving over 2,200 students. Their district covers 119 square miles across five townships. In addition to buildings serving elementary, middle and high school grades, the district has a _______ square foot community recreation center serving both students and residents from surrounding communities.
The need
A strategic plan to help shape the future of the Cloverleaf Community Recreation Center
The Cloverleaf Community Recreation Center was built in _____ thanks to the generosity of a major donor. It has been maintained by the district through membership and rental revenue. Lost revenue from rentals and memberships during COVID combined with an aging facility prompted Cloverleaf leadership to closely evaluate the facility and its programs to ensure a recreation center that would continue to positively impact the community for years to come.
The solution
We worked with members of Cloverleaf leadership, board, faculty and families to to facilitate a strategic planning process to guide the future of the CCRC. Our team facilitated in-person and Zoom-based sessions over the course of eight months to develop strategic goals and action plans to guide the future of the CCRC.
The outcome
The result was a three-year strategic plan including measurable goals, accountable action steps and concrete timelines for completion. Plan action steps will continue to involve the strategic planning team over the three-year period and rely on both staff and community input for completion.
